The establishment and purpose of Ghana's Ministry of Transport
The Ministry of Transport was established in January, 2009 by re-aligning the functions of the erstwhile Ministries of Aviation, Harbours and Railways and the Road Transport Services.
The Ministry was created to establish an accessible, affordable, reliable, effective and efficient transport system that meets user needs in Ghana.
